The Inert Atmosphere Industrial Oven Series is the cost-effective choice for processes requiring elevated temperatures of sensitive parts in an atmosphere of inert gas. The inert gas is used to protect the parts from oxidation at the elevated temperature. Common gases for inert atmospheres are carbon dioxide and the noble gases nitrogen and argon. Nitrogen is the most widely used. The heating chamber is purged then pressurized by replacing oxygen with inert gas. Processes that can be sensitive to oxidation and are used with inert atmosphere ovens include bonding, carbonizing, curing, drying, plating, out gassing and heat treating of materials.

The Inert Atmosphere Industrial Oven Series feature true horizontal, side-to-side airflow, and provide excellent temperature uniformity. The continuous-weld, fully sealed stainless interior, special gaskets and latches ensure the inert atmosphere does not leak from the chamber and that oxygen does not enter.
